Winding along for over a mile, this beautiful, tree-lined roadway features one of the most cost effective and environmentally friendly ways with which we can forge into the future toward energy independence. The entire roadway is brightly illuminated using SEPCO’s unique 200 – Watt Solar Electric Lighting Systems (SELS). SEPCO’s Lighting Systems power the high quality, commercial Shoebox Fixture from dusk-to-dawn (DTD).
The double-sided architectural signs located at each entrance to the EPA Campus are brightly illuminated using SEPCO’s unique Solar Electric Lighting Systems (SELS). These power both commercial Floodlighting fixtures from dusk to dawn (DTD). The use of solar electric for sign and roadway lighting addresses the concern of the EPA to find and implement a viable and immediate solution to the higher installation and operating costs of conventional lighting options.
