Pentagon

Perimeter Solar Security Lights

Project Information

SEPA300-QM-2PF18-DTD-BH

The Pentagon uses our solar security lighting systems for the perimeter of their power generating facility. These lights run from dusk to dawn year around since 2003. The solar power systems complement each other to enhance a higher level of security under extreme conditions by offering and working with functions such as Presence Detection through motion detectors (ie. pressure sensors and infra-red beams,) cameras and recorders, transmitters and receivers, etc.

To enhance the perimeter lighting for the Pentagon's low lux camera and security systems, the solar security lighting systems provide additional illumination for the perimeter in remote areas where it was felt that the conventional lighting system was inadequate to provide the level of security desired. They help prevent a breach of security by providing back up lighting for the camera and security systems in the event of a conventional power failure.
