About SolarASL

  • The SolarASL high-powered LED solar lighting system comes complete with solar power assembly, fixture, bracket, and all mounting hardware to attach to a pole. SEPCO can also provide a pole to meet wind load specifications.
  • The SolarASL solar power assembly ranges from 30 Watts to 550 Watts, with the size of the battery assembly allowing for a minimum of five days autonomy. The solar power assembly is sized according to installation location and takes into consideration local weather conditions.
  • The ASL Area Site Lighter fixture is a Cobrahead / shoebox style fixture and comes complete with LEDs and drivers used to operate the fixture from the solar-charged batteries. The SolarASL ranges from 15 to 100 Watts and comes with Type II, III, IV, and V Distribution patterns, 3K, 4K, and 5K color temperatures.
  • The SolarASL's fixture bracket can either be an SP - Side of Pole Bracket, which is a long elliptical upsweep arm ranging from 4’ to 8’ (longer lengths are available), or a short straight ST – Side of Pole Tenon Bracket ranging from 5” to 24”. The fixture mounts below the solar panel at the required mounting height for the application.
  • The SolarASL system mounts to any round pole with a minimum diameter of 4", allowing the solar to face south while not restricting the direction of fixture installation. The SolarViper can be purchased complete with a pole for mounting the solar lighting system. Poles are available in aluminum, steel, fiberglass composite, or concrete and are anchor base or direct burial. All poles provided by SEPCO meet local AASHTO wind load requirements.
