Eagle County Transit

Solar Bus Stop Lighting

Project Information

SEPA20-XS-ING3-DTD/RAS

Solar bus stop light for Eagle County transit was purchased for the Gypsum Colorado bus stops and were installed shortly after the last snowfall. The lights provide safety to travelers using the bus system. The travelers can click to activate the light when they are waiting on the next bus. After the traveler gets picked up, the light will go off until the next traveler comes up. This allows the power not to be wasted in times when there are no busses running or travelers waiting.
